This unique necklace is beautifully hand-crafted by village artisans in Haiti from clay, glass, and brass beads and finished with a brass lobster clasp.  The necklace is 21 inches long.  Great for someone looking for a a statement piece that's not too chunky and with a nice pop of color.  Story Behind the Art The crafting process is very detailed and time consuming from start to finish.  Artisans first make the clay beads from scratch.  The clay is hand-rolled to form the bead that is delicately pierced to form the beading hole, before firing in the kiln.  The beads are then hand-painted and glazed before the final firing.  The one-of-a-kind beads vary in shape and size to create wearable art.
